Majolika from the Majolika Manufacturing in Nieborów
A great family history expressed in small and delicate objects: tiles, dishes, and figurines that skillfully combine tradition with modern trends in applied arts. The Factory of Artistic Faience and Tiled Stoves in Nieborów was founded in 1881 by the palace owner, Prince Michał Piotr Radziwiłł. After more than a hundred years, in 2017, the Radziwiłł family returned to Nieborów Factory.
Each item is stamped with a factory mark from the original time of Michał Piotr (the initials "MPR" and the prince's miter "est. 1881" and annotation "Majolika Nieborów") and signed with the initials of the contemporary artists. Nieborów is the only place in Poland where majolica is created in its original building, using traditional technologies and local materials.
